How do I see an old estate agent advert?

Not sure if this should be here or on the Techie board tbh so apologies in advance if I chose wrongly.

There was a particular house for sale in Feb of this year. The advert was only up for a short time (and I can't remember what site I saw it on but I'd guess it was your move.) The house has now been sold and is no longer on agent's sites.

I know there are ways to see cached versions of things but I'm not sure how I'd go about finding this old ad.

Any ideas?

Check Zoopla or RM sold prices for a particular property using the address / postcode if you know it. It often says when it was last marketed including most recent pics and property particulars.

You may well find the details on the zoopla site... some of the estate agent details find themselves there. As to finding a cached page left on the internet, I doubt it will still be there.

Edit: curse you, kBHX for your speedy fingers  :rotfl:

  • In my experience Zoopla can take a while to update, so it might be worth hanging on for a few weeks - if you can wait that long!

hi, similar to this, does anyone know if it is possible to find old listings on houses that were advertised previously but not sold (seller decided not to sell or sale fell through)?

i have not been able to find this info on Zoopla or RM as yet
    thank you!

The only way you would be able to find this is to speak to an agent that can get access to Rightmove Plus (which is their professional site) as they can get access to anything that has previously been marketed for comparible purposes
