Info re phoning/internet connect from South Africa

Hi, I am working on a Game Farm in South Africa for 6 weeks in the summer 05 and would like advice on which mobile contract/payasugo to use out there to connect to a laptop and phone home - no landline available. Need to get my 'A' level results and be able to accept uni thro UCAS and email home etc. Thanks

Honestly ... all i can say is good luck ...
Vodacom is prob the cheapest pay-as-u-go ..but that aint really cheap.

as for using it for a modem ...hmm

Internet in South Africa is unfortuanaly still VERRY VERRY Expensive.
