Hotel for gatwick

Our flights have been brought forward to 6.20 now so we want to stay as close as possible with minimal transfer time. Any suggestions on somewhere to stay, will need parking option as we will need to drive there, and park for the week? Any deals anyone is aware of? It's for 27/9/13.

I got the gatwick central travelodge for October for £17 for the night - don't know about parking though sorry, we're taking the train there. This travelodge has a shuttle bus service to and from both terminals, starts at around 3am I believe.

That's a good shout- £17 for 26th which is actually what I wanted not the 27th! Just need to sort out parking for next 7 nights.

Is there anywhere to eat nearby as we will go straight from work ?

Crawley Leisure Park has Pizza Hut, Bella Italia, Harvester, Frankie & Benny's, McDonalds, Nandos, TGI Fridays... etc. etc, and ample free parking.

Britannia Hotels offer accommodation + 8 days' parking for £45 at Europa Hotel, or same thing for £49 at Russ Hill Hotel (£2 admin fee to be added to those prices). Not sure if there's a transfer fee to the airport on top of that or not, you'd have to go through the booking process to check it out properly I expect.

    Have a nice trip!

Check out Premier Inn Park and Fly deals. We've booked for two weeks in September with them.

Gatwick Hilton has direct access to South Terminal so no transfer required.

    Is Horley nearer?
We always stay in a B&B in Horley, lots of places to eat - including a tapa bar, Indian/Chinese/italian and a Wetherspoons plus other pubs doing food.

I always stay in Horley. It's about 5-7 mins from Gatwick by car

My favourite is Yotel -Right in the South Terminal-No shuttle buses to contend with -and so easy. Last time I used it I got up -checked in my case-went back to my "room" (like a ship's cabin - double bed, sky tv, monsoon shower and wifi but very compact) with a coffee and danish until it was time to stroll through security. You can pay for just 4 hours if you want too so have a late dinner and check in after. I booked through booking.com as it was cheaper than booking direct with Yotel)

We always book a park and fly package at the Gatwick Manor Premier Inn. It's not the nearest one to the airport but the food in the pub next door, Gatwick Manor, is really good.
