As for receiving in the UK, it works by postcode, NI only, however nothing to stop you purchasing a NI enabled viewing card from certain auction sites, I'm sure a few Norn Iron entrepreneurs will have these listed

Definitely workng on channel numbers indicated in earilier post.

My only concern is if they are planning to block certain events, e.g. premership match on Saturday, etc.

Was considering emailling Sky, but I think that's pointless. Emailled them last week asking when RTE would be available on Sky for NI customers and they replied on Friday saying they did not know of any plans to provide these channels!

I mangaed to get TG4 working on me portable last night, great picture ( wee cheapy set top aerial), but no sign of RTE1.

Well. You can't recieve Sky broadcasts thru an aerial. You need Sky digibox and Dish...................

I flicked to RTE2 today and the Heineken Cup rugby was blocked - probably because Sky has exclusive rights to it or something. The same probably applied to the live Premiership footy yesterday. No word of TV3 coming to Sky?

My understanding was that these 'new' channels were to be FTA, which is how I managed to get TG4. Anyway, new slant on the problem now......I have installed a freeview box on said portable, and no sign of either channel on there either.
