Why do they need your bank details rather than a cc? Is it an actual subscription they are setting up? Is it one of those awkward things that can't be cancelled (Not a dd but can't remember what they're called)?Illegitimi non carborundum.0

Phoned up just now hoping to get a free magazine but when I turned down the chance of 3 for £1 I got a right earful from a very aggressive lady so I hung up and she has had the cheek to phone me back and leave abuse on my answer phone. So much for calls being monitored. I am still shaking.0

Thanks! They made me ring twice though as they said I could only take up 1 free magazine per call! :rotfl: I prefer to take up the £1 offers online so I then have a proof of set up email and I can forward that when I want to cancel!
One small question...how much does the call cost? Possibly more than the magazine cover price?0
