Samsung Galaxy S4 SIM card
Hi all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Vodafone, contract expiring July 2014. I was going to get a second line on my account for the Galaxy S4 on a 12 month contract, sell the S3 on ebay and then give the new SIM card to my dad to use on an older phone. I would then use my current SIM with the S4. Will there be any problem with this approach or are SIMs set up to be compatible with the latest phones anyway?
I will just about break even with this as I get a quite large discount on line rental through Vodafone from a work discount plan. There would be a big saving for my dad though as he uses PAYG (frequently).

A SIM is a SIM, they'll work in anything (form factor dependant, although adaptors will mitigate that).0

make sure that the old phone is either locked to the same network as the new sim or unlocked.0
