Well things never seem to work out the way you want them to.
I know exactly how you feel, sometimes the cost of living can be so inconvenient can't it ;) Don't forget that this is a marathon not a sprint though and to enjoy life/time together as a family along the way. Hope you have a fab time in Florida! :D

I think a new thread would probably be a fair shout - over to FairyClicks!

I might cheat and substitute savings/investments for OPs as S@ntander only let us OP by £500 at a time and I find myself somewhat short of £500s at present :rotfl:

Cheating sounds good to me! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Given some freebie courgettes off my Mum so i'm adding £1.20 to the op pot, bringing my total up to £16.20 for the month.

I am going back to the original posting daily how i have made my £1 cos i sort of lost my mojo this month when i wasn't posting everyday.

Now all i need is my first £5 covered lol! hmmmm brain in gear time :D

I'd need to find an ISA paying 5.01%, or a taxed account paying 6.30%!

Roll on remortgage time in 9 months.

You might like to check out the nationwide current account at 5% - not quite high enough for you but getting close at least :) you could pay your OP's in until you get £500 then pay off mortgage to maximise the interest on savings and minimise what you pay on mortage!

I am so lucky to have a mortgage at 1.5% :D

Today i have washed my own car instead of using the car wash so £5 added to the pot :D

Well last month was a bit of a no go, I started off well, then half term arrived, so have started this month fresh, again.
I`ve popped £6 in already so a good start, but nothing else has come along yet. I need to update my grocery spends in a mo, which I think is creeping up pretty rapid:(. Catch you all later.
