Agree, win 8 is frustrating without a touch screen, and I couldn't work out how to find control panel as a shortcut without googling! However I have found it far quicker than win 7, and not crashed once.
Luckily its free, being director of IT I can just use my companies bizspark licences
Windows phone however is probably the best OS out there, perhaps they should hire that team to work on desktop versions.0 -
I've had nothing but issues with Windows 8 as i didn't have a touchscreen so was constantly crashing, hidding things and generally messing around so i swapped back to 7 and the issues have gone0
