new magazine comps

Even if you still get the video for every comp (I did), multi-tasking is the key. Open lots of tabs for the mag you are working on (I do 8 at a time as 3 x 8 is 24 + the initial one you use to log in makes the 25 entries allowed) and leave all the videos playing at once (with the sound turned off!).

While they are playing, start another mag, do some main board comps or make a cup of tea!

Go back to the first window after a couple of minutes and you should be at the entry confirmation screen on each tab.

I did this opening 8 tabs at a time for chat this morning and it was actually quicker and easier than the tick boxes (but every sympathy for those whose computers can't cope with it.)

Thanks for your help. Will try this afternoon. Do you need to go on to the actual magazine website to do this or can you do it from this forum?

You have to go to the magazine website for each competition, but the easiest way (for me) is to use the mag dailys post linked to from the main daily competitions board in regular competions (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/60261225#Comment_60261225)

I find it easier to use the links in the first post to open a separate window for each mag, but you mnay find a different way works best for you.

The important thing with these is to find the method that is most efficient and comfortable for the way you work.

Received a reply to my e-mail about the videos finishing but entry not being able to submit...

I didn't have any problem with multiple tabs on Chat, however when trying to enter a comp on Look, I let the video run but didn't get entry confirmation afterwards. Went back to the prize draw page, it let me select the comp again meaning I hadn't been entered, watched it again, still no entry confirmation!! GRRRRRR!!! Have emailed them but not holding my breath for an answer....

I e-mailed each website, too. Now they appear to have taken the videos off. So be quick while the goings good :j:j:j

The only website that won't submit for me is Now.

All the others are fine

I tried One-Eye's method and that didn't work but just allowing the video to run in the tab whilst I went off and entered others worked fine.

I am finding them much easier to enter this way, less mouse clicks for me

Now is the only one that hasn't worked for me either.

Hope they sort themselves out as I missed being able to enter yesterday because of the fault.
