DFS - PPI claim

Dunstonh isn't telling you not to complain, but is telling you not to be surprised when DFS rejects your weak complaint. It's a myth fostered by claims companies that PPI is somehow deliberately "hidden". For credit cards it appears on every monthly statement, on loans it appears on the agreement signed by the customer. Anyone who says they had no idea they were paying PPI has either forgotten or simply didn't read the agreement they signed. It may be a weak complaint but in my case and I suspect in many others, it happens to be true. I have therefore sent my letter off to the group retail controller
Like your complaint generally, you are misinformed here. When your complaint is rejected, you can refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) where it will languish for around eighteen months.will follow up to FSA if necessary.0
