Not eligible to apply for a Parking Permit, anyone had the same problem?

Makes sense to me.
Before they built the flats the parking was already pushed to its limits.
They only got planning permission on the grounds that all parking had to be on the property also.
Builders / Developers ? Decided that building more flats and less parking space would make them more money.
So residents objected to the plans as there was not enough parking for the number of flats. Hence the restrictions in place. Possibly the only way they could get planning permission.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Hi
Part of my problem is it wasnt in my tenancy agreement (small print and all) and I wasnt informed when I moved in.
When you say at least I didnt buy a flat, if I was to buy a flat I would qualify to buy a parking space to go with the flat at which point they may also have pointed out about the Parking Permit restriction but thanks for trying to make me feel better.0 -
You're right thats exactly what happened but if Im to go along with that kind of logic, why allow me to buy a season ticket for 5 times the cost? Also why is it possible for 3 town houses full of students with cars to apply for parking permits and not me. Nothing like double standards.0

I thought it was a housing association, isn't this cheaper than market rates?0
