BT internet email Norton warning

We have had BTinternet for a couple of years now, and everything has been fine, until today.
I logged into my email account, went into mail, and opened a new email from my wife's work account - fine.
Then I clicked on one of the Yahoo notifications about a post I had made, something which I have done before.
As soon as I did this a warning from my Norton antivirus came up, and I exited the site as requested. The message said something about BTinternet Yahoo not being safe, spam.
So, as I had not logged out correctly from BT, I went back in and signed out.
I then signed in again, and it appears that I am getting the message on every email.
I cannot open any email.
Is there a problem with Norton and BTinternet, or was it the Yahoo email which caused the problem?

Oh dear, here we go again, it looks like another possible ISP change for me.
It is actually 1 year 3 months since we went over to BT from AOL, after our AOL accounts were spoofed (the first time I had experienced anything like that).
Now, call me cycnical, but the AOL spoofing happened very soon after I had loads of calls from the AOL India site trying to get me to upgrade - which I ignored. Then I started getting loads of the fake Microsoft support telephone calls, all using my name. Then after telling them to go do one, my computer got infected (I have it as a spare, nice and clean now), I bought another, and changed to BT.
Just recently, BT have been constantly pestering me to upgrade, which I have not done. Then in the last week I have had loads of the fake support calls from India.
Now today, my BT has gone.
I can login to the account, but when I click on "mail", the Norton warning comes up, and stops me viewing any emails or composing new mail.
The AOL and BT call centres are based in India.
The fake/scam telephone calls are coming from India.
Are people in AOL and BT selling our personal information to the scammers and hackers?

Why do you keep using ISP provided e-mail accounts when there are many better independent alternatives that you could use?

Learn for this and don't use them. This also makes changing ISP's very easy!

Well, after running a full scan and restarting the PC it all seems to be fine now, as I have been able to access and send emails.

I never use my O2 email account. Not once have i logged into it.

Still have my old AOL email accounts though. Yahoo and Gmail.

Although Google's practice of wanting all my data is getting on my nerves a bit.

Why do i want my real name plastered all over the reviews of apps and everyone being able to link all my accounts together?

Currently all my made up names alert me instantly where the leak came from.
