No Buying Unneccecary Toiletries in May 2013

Hello all!

I got back yesterday from a week in the Lakes, very nice countryside but the weather was very mixed, although it was pretty good on my birthday (13th), it rained until I got to the South Lakes Animal Park then it stopped all day and didn't start again until I got in the car to go home! :j

Came home to find a £10 Boots giftcard amongst the cards which I will try not to spend (ha!), I'm completely exhausted, I drove 952.1 miles in 7 days so it's not surprising!!

Now for an on topic question.....does anyone find that, after they've been open a little while, the No7 liquid eyeliners set like concrete on your face? It takes ages to get them off, and in fact I gave up on hols, I put a bit of a dark blue one on and there were still remnants of it there after two long eye cleanses and a shower!!

Weleda body lotion with sea buckthorn - this was a mini from the LIB box, it smelt of sherbert to me, it was very nice to use and I WMBA.

Clinique airbrush concealer - HG
Been using this for a few years and it really makes a difference. Will be buying as soon as I use up a Bourjois concealer I have which I can't even remember buying !

Received my veet kit from bzz today not sure if that's an IN or not. also placed 2 online orders today:eek: one for Body Shop as 40% off plus extra 10% with LYB card. Also have ordered the L'Occitane glitch but that may not be honoured as similar thing last year and my order was cancelled by them.

Parisian, rosemary and asset - sorry to hear you're going through rough times.

A few UUs:

Aveda rosemary and mint shampoo 30ml - WNBA, didn't feel that it cleaned my hair properly, though had a lovely fresh scent

Soap & Glory Flake Away 50ml - WNBA, nice and scrubby but left a really oily resudue on my skin and found it vety difficult to rinse this and the scrubby bits off!

Gillette shave gel 200ml - HG and WBA... In fact, just bought some more, so 4 INs to undo all my good work!

Can I please join in? I have a scary amount of toiletries around my tiny flat, and I need to get it sorted! May be moving within a year and hate the thought of having to explain exactly why I have quite so much stuff to my boyfriend!

3 new items for the stash today, as needed some pressed powder and it was 3 for 2 in Tesco. So got a highlighter and 2 identical compacts as there was nothing else I wanted. I also got 3 items yesterday - 3 for 2 on toothpaste. Think I might need to have a bit of a pamper session tonight to get rid of something I already have!

If I can get up the nerve to do it, I might make an inventory tomorrow.

4 cotton wool pads - get through these like wildfire and im on my last pack.

2 Sure max protection deo - HG and had money off vouchers and also on 3 for 2

No7 for men face scrub - used £5 off voucher and was in 3 for 2

No7 green eye liner - used £3 voucher - my urban decay eyeliner is a tiny stump and im hoping this will be a possible substitute

2 packs of Tampax

2 Radox bubble bath - was on offer at £1 - I only have Soap & glory bubble bath in my stash and really wanted a change.

2 Garnier 3 in 1 face wash/scrub/mask - on offer at 2 for £5 (normally £4.99 each) - This contahis clears my skin when its going through its spotty cycle.

4 nivea shower gels - on offer but no excuse as I have shower gel.

TBS blusher - im at the end of a blusher so decided to try this one - TBS have 3 for 2 offer on so got 1 grapefruit and 1 brazil nut shower gel.

Two ins to report as I was tempted by a BodyShop deal buy two skincare items and get 20% off, so I bought Seaweed Face Mask so that I could get 20% off of Wise Woman Eye Serum. In my defence this is my first venture into serums.

I finally used up a long haul job, Dove Roll-on deo that I was determined to get rid of.

I did manage to resist all attempts by hairdressers to sell me more product - yay!
