Hello ladies, I haven't posted since the start of the month and had to read through pages and pages to catch up! Will I never learn to keep up with the thread?
Hugs to all those having a hard time or trouble with the men folks.
I have had a few UU (not very many though)
Boots Amazon Forest mango + babassu (whatever that may be??) body butter - WBA, this was lovely, much lighter texture than BS butters and smelled like mango ice cream, yum! If I am very good at using up my lotions I might treat myself to more Boots body butters when they have the sets at Xmas as everyone on here seems to rate them too
Arran Aromatics Lavender + Lemongrass shampoo - WNBA, this was a hotel freeby and I don't think it was really Arran Aromatics, or if it was they are not such great quality as I imagined. It just seemed like a normal cheapy shampoo.
Burts Bees Deep Cleansing cream - WNBA, this was a trial size which I am glad about! It had some kind of menthol in it which made my eyes sting a lot, and that was just using it on my face and not my eyes.
And, ahem, a few Ins as well
2 x Accessorize nail varnishes on offer in SD, I couldn't resist a speckly blue one and got a sensible taupe colour because I don't have anything similar.
Avon SPF20 moisturiser and a trial size Avon Anew night cream from the clearance book
Have a good weekend everyone! No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
So my 2 latest in beauty boxes finally arrived
don't feel bad about it cause it was free and I have more Uu to report.
Virgin vie renaissance silk hand creme- not sure if still going around but quite like this
Simple eye make up remover WBA think this might be my hg makeup remover
Magnolia hand wash . Got as part of a secret Santa not that special
Avon glimmerstick liqui glide WBA but own about 50 more eyeliners
And some random hair stuff
Was pleased with the beauty boxes. I really wanted to try the eyelash curler and the makeup brush plus the body oil so the rest was honus stuff and it was cheaper than buying them by themselves£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
20,000 step a day challenge0 -
Another UU: Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena Hand Sanitizer.
Ooh, this was gorgeous! It was a present from an American friend. It was one of the nicest fragrances I have ever smelled and I've had it for ages and I'm gutted that it has finished! It also had blue glitter in it. What's not to like?! Everyone who has smelled it (and by that I mean anyone sat in the room in which I use it at the time) commented on how lovely it was. I also had a body lotion in the same fragrance, but I finished that ages ago. If I ever go to the States, I'm going to go MAD buying this...sod the challenge! Please call me 'Pickle'

I have many times on here complained about the S&G hand food when it goes off.
Emailed their customer services to complain and received a reply - OMG you will not believe how rude and arrogant it was
It was poorly written, with no offer to refund/replace or exchange. They did say that they would be changing the formulation.
Shocked at their attitude, that's the last S&G I'll be buying.
I'd be interested to read that. Fancy posting it, minus personal details?
Ooh, and forgot an In: Nivea cream (blue pot). Much needed for an obstinate dry patch. There's just nothing like it! :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

Oh dear was looking at this product to replace my usual hand cream. Glad I saw this post as I was going to purchase 2 on the 3 for 2 offer.
Two UUs:
BS Hemp hand cream, WBA but only if it is on offer. Although it is rich and moisturising I can't justify to myself spending £10 on hand cream.
Boots Collection 2000 mascara. Very cheap at £1.99 but I WNBA as you could not close it without big clumps gathering in the middle so I could not carry it in my cosmetic bag. It also ran out very quickly which is not surprising due to the amount of product which was wasted every time I used it.
One in: TIGI Bed Head volumising conditioner from TK Maxx. One bottle lasts a long time and my hair is in desperate need for good products.0 -
UU:
Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Handcream, 100ml tube. Didn't really like the metal tube, made getting the last bits out kinda hard. I'm actually beginning to see the sides of the handcream bucket!0 -

How terrible! I'm always surprised that they don't realise that they will lose customers and gain a bad reputation if they do not offer good and non defensive customer serviceNot wishing to be an enabler, but the Indeed Labs products (Hyrdraluron etc) are included in the 3 for 2 at Boots. My branch only had 1 Hydraluron, they said the offer is on for the next 10 days or so, and is available on-line too, so I will stock up next week, good saving on one of my HG's, I think I will go for 2 Hydraluron and 1 Eyesilix.
Oh my gosh - thank you!!! Time to try the Hydraluron!London_baby wrote: »Oh dear was looking at this product to replace my usual hand cream. Glad I saw this post as I was going to purchase 2 on the 3 for 2 offer.

I saw the Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream for £5 yesturday in my local body shop - defo worth looking out for the times they have it on offer, or using the 50% off codes that pop up quite a bit!

Rosemary, I've just read Martin's obituary online - what a wonderful man. We had a similarly inspirational teacher who became a head at another school, Keith J. Widdison. He died at a similar age in 1974-5, having married in 1973 for the first time. The memory of his inspirational teaching - and of his sheer 'goodness' has stayed with me all my adult life, as I know it has for others.
Got given a pot of Garnier Spanish cleansing pads for my b'day, really random gift, but the only recent in, thankfully! I think they are for oily, problem skin. Mine isn't!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Morning ladies, feeling v smug with myself this morning having just got back from the gym, whatever has come over me I do not know?!!
OH has a stinking hangover and is stuck in Manchester waiting until he's fit to drive home, cue extra smugness :rotfl:
I've a couple more UU, this month is slow and steady on all counts - Imperial Leather Oriental Calm shower cream - smelt gorgeous, cherry blossom and vanilla bean, and lathered up nicely - WBA
Other item is Percy & Reed No Oil Oil - love this, so glad I managed to get two bottles when it was a freebie with Glamour, got another to go and will definitely be looking to buy again after that - hopefully off Ebay a bit cheaper than the RRP. Helps tame my unruly hair without making it greasy - saved me much stress and hair-related grumpiness - probably also stopped me from chopping it off at that horrid inbetween growing stage! A hair hero indeed :T
Will have a couple of IN today, I thought I'd managed not to use the No. 7 voucher I had and that it ran out a couple of weeks ago but found it in my bag the other day and I think its today it expires - will either buy the foaming cleanser or some facewipes for convenience for weekend away that's coming up - not decided which yet. I also still need to replace hairspray.0 -
Some UU:
250ml TBS Satsuma shower gel - WBA but have more in my stash.
100ml nspa mango shower gel - WNBA lathered well but fragrance didnt last - have more varients to go from a Christmas gift set.
100ml mango & papaya body lotion - WNBA thick & creamy but didnt rub in very well and didnt really like the fragrance.
DH mouthwash - WBA but no brand loyalty to mouthwash
21 ebay outs.No more buying toiletries0
