Thomas Cook / Easyjet Confusion

  • I don't think Thomas Cook are just going to leave all of their customers with no way to check in. I'd imagine they'll give you a booking reference that'll work, or tell you to use the check-in section of the Thomas Cook website.

You can still get a boarding pass at the airport, you'll just have to ask. easyJet won't fine you like Ryanair will.

Easyjet have gone to online check in only. You purely drop your bags off at the airport. I work in travel and rather than do it separately yourself.....No ATOL protection. Most travel agencies now have systems that will package together for you and you then have full protection. I frequently book Easyjet flights for customers & use Thomas Cook hotels. But as we are acting as the tour operator by doing the booking this way, we also provide the ATOL cover. Hope this helps. Good luck.

is this really a package deal - when ever I have talked to booking deals like you suggest, they have stated that this is not a package deal?
