Any deals of Kaspersky Anti Virus

Hi all

I've been using Kaspersky for years and perfectly happy with to renew again when it expires soon. Any deals going around?

Thanks

Look on Amazon (or elsewhere) for the cheapest 'previous years' version, and use that product key (or whatever they call it) for your 2013 downloaded upgrade.

The cheapest I can see is for a 2012 1 PC 1 year licence for £6.99, or why not treat yourself to Internet Security for £8?

The best deal is to get it free (3 licence product key) with a Barclays Online account.
If you don't have a Barclays account, ask a friend instead.

Looks if my suggestions are still winning, if the OP has just one PC!

The main thing is NOT to renew it online at the Kaspersky website - a ripoff!

    Don't pay.

Download Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free and works just as well. I'm surprised people still pay for anti-virus these days.

At least give it a trial instead of blindly paying for something that might not be the best for you.

Here's a good reason for advising people to NOT use MSE for their AV protection. In the latest AVtest.org tests it scores a terrible 1.5 out of 6.0 for protection. That's the worst score of all the products tested. Of the FREE AV programs, AVAST 7.0; AVG 2013; Zone Alarm 10.2 and Panda Cloud 2.0 ALL offer superior protection to MSE.

That's pretty strong evidence to refute many people's devotion to a clearly inferior anti virus product.

MSE is completely adequate for normal web usage. A big bonus of MSE does not slow your computer down.

If you only visit moneysavingexpert.com , BBC.co.uk and answer emails from auntie may, its all you need.

If you have a tendency for visiting naughty websites and downloading lots of "fun" stuff, you will certainly need something with more features.

Kaspersky offers a full recovery suite, which may give you piece of mind.

Dont forget that purchase of kaspersky av or kis gives automatic upgrade to 2013 verion .

KIS long long time user passed upon continual multiple high pass rates from AV comparatives .
