Morning everyone

Sun is shinning but brrrrrr it's so chilly!!!!
Plans today are to head off to supermarket for food shop and then come back and crack on with cleaning house downstairs. Have promised myself an hour sitting on my butt later if I get it all done before dog walking and school run commences.
Tea tonight is lemon chicken and pea risotto.
Hugs and spoons all round xxx
Molly hope meeting with CAB goes well x
Donny travel safe x
Julie apologies for sticking my nose in but personally I would tell your kids, surely they are old enough to know. Better to have it all out in the open. XI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning all,
Chilly here again - was that summer last week? - but dry and trying to be bright. Winter scarf back out for dog walking earlier. Hope it stays dry as we stripped the sofa covers yesterday so some are back on, some on the line and some in the wash or waiting to go in. Sofas will look a bit half baked for a few days as random covers go back on.
Just done a load of paperwork, paying bills for my Mum. Have to head into town later to exchange some clothes I bought for her which didn't fit - not looking forward to it, hope it's not busy.
Have a good day all

Morning all!
Feel like all I have done is work and sleep this past week, its been a long time coming but I feel even more exhausted, if that's possible! Am back to my full hours at work now, and trying to get into a routine, easier said than done when I don't know who's home when, and my brother here frequently, although have missed his company for over 10 years he can be hard work at times!
So far this morning have decluttered a book on my kindle, done some washing, and have just booked mum's seats for her flight, she is off to LA on Saturday to spend 2 weeks with her cousin, she is great fun and it will be a tonic for mum, don't think she realises how much stress she has been under worrying about us after OH died, and my brother's situation, plus her old auntie! Think she's dreading the 11 hour flight, but has treated herself to business class, :eek:at the price but why the heck not, she can afford to travel in comfort!!!
DD is having a couple of days holiday from work this week, DS stayed with his friend last night so hopefully will come home in a happier mood cos he's still really struggling, it's a nightmare with him determined not to talk in case he upsets me, but his friend's mum will give me the nod if he has told them anything worrying!
Looks like it's going to be a bit variable weather-wise today, sun one minute and grey the next, think I will look out the holiday clothes, 2 weeks on Friday me and DS are off to menorca for a week!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Morning All,
Had a good weekend. Went to the tip and got rid of loads of bottles and cardboard.:T
Garden centre where I spent my Christmas voucher. Came home and planted up all my baskets, cucumbers, strawberries and peppers.
Yesterday my Auntie Pat came down with her son and daughter, and we went up to see Daddy. He looked amazing:j He was dressed and sitting in his chair. He was so looking forward to seeing his sister after all these years, it gave him a real boost. I haven't seen him that good for over a year.:T
OH has just left for a meeting, so I need to get the vac out and do upstairs, it's covered in cat hair:eek:
Talking of the cat, we had to de-flea him yesterday. He hates it. He knows when we have the stuff, and you only have to put it on his neck, but if he can get out of it he does!:rotfl: In the end I held him down, and OH applied the stuff. This morning he had forgiven me, but spat at OH:rotfl:
Just cleaned out the fridge, amazing what you find!
Decided to go back to fasting, so brekkie was a boiled egg and five asparagus spears.:o
Lunch will be a cup a soup
Dinner is a very small portion of HM veg curry, and fresh pineapple.

Just taking a coffee break from my chores.
Lovely sunny morning, will put the washing out soon.
I've been down the post office with a batch of eBay parcels and will go again this afternoon, as two more people have paid.
I'm meeting a friend at tea time when she finishes work, so will have a bite to eat when I'm out.
OH will have to make something for tea when he gets in from work!

It goes to show, what is one mans trash is another mans treasure.
I'd piled a load of stuff up a corner for hubby to take to the local refuse centre when he gets time. Just as a thought, i decided to post my junk on a Facebook for sale group and within half an hour of me posting it it had been all been sold and was being taken off to its new home.
I'll try that again.

Thanks for the hugs x
My doggies are the same with their spot on flea treatment - they run a mile as we pick up the packet in the kitchen with all the doors shut!
I think it tingles or stings?
Jools - look forward to the sun in Menorca xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Hi all; just caught up with the tail end of yesterday's thread.
Judi re your friend's "TMI moment" my first reaction was "Only 4 times? Lightweights!!":D:D:D:D:D
Aww, nightmares really can shake you up, can't they? I've put up with them for donkeys' years.Hardup_Hester wrote: »Morning all
I woke up after a horrible nightmare & couldn't get back to sleep.
It's chilly here & cloudy, it's not supposed to get much better either.
Hugs to Molly, Judi, PP & anyone else in need, LW how long do you have Jessica for?
My DD's are coming over tonight for a SATC night, we are working our way through a boxed set of Sex & the city, lol.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester
Jessie's gone home now - she was collected 11:00 this morning. Looks like I'll be able to work with the new franchisee OK though; I didn't get too desperately nervous at him coming to get Jessie, so that's good.:o
Dys0n Tango has now been done (Labrador hairs - need I say more?):D and I need to download the pics I took over the weekend, also need to print one out for my "rogues gallery" - an album of all the dogs who stay with me.
I also need to make labels for the lemon & lime marmalade we made yesterday, so the rather elderly pc need to be switched on, as that's the one connected to my printer.:o
Oh well, better crack on, I have to clean the kitchen as well, and I don't see a Kitchen Fairy in evidence, so I guess it's down to me to do it.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
