3, Quidco and Recommend a Friend - Beware !

Just to alert you that if you are thinking of getting the maximum 'cashback' when signing onto 3 by using Quidco (£82.50) and Recommend a Friend (£30 credit) - it does not work. I tried it the hard way and learnt my lesson. If you log into 3 via Quidco, there is no box at all for yourto input your friend's mobile number in the 'Personal Details' page. But if you went direct to 3's website (and not via Quidco), this box magically appears ! 3 must be stopping this loophole - it's either one or the other, but not both. Hope that I will now get my cashback from Quidco fast !

It worked for me about 6 weeks ago and a friend has his quidco amount tracked from 2 weeks ago.

We both went to the page from quidco, then went to the recommend a friend page and buy from that link, it showed the box to enter the friends number and you get quidco money, or at least I have

Wifes mum did this, and you are correct, there is no box for RAF, but she just put the phone number in the promotional code box instead.

Incidently, wifes mum had to chase up with three directly, but it's all gone through. Wifes mum has her £30 plus £100 cashback and wife will be getting hers on her June bill.

Thanks for the replies and advice. I did try putting the mobile number into the Promotion Code box but it did not work. Also tried calling 3 CS, but they say they can't input any extra details once the order has gone through. Their computer cannot access or change details !!!
