Blurred graphics with windows 7

Sorry, I don't think I made it too clear. The old Medion PC runs the monitor perfectly with an N Videa GT9500 card. Crystal clear. The new windows 7 PC has intergrated graphics in the Asus motherboard. This is causing he banding. When I put the N Videa card into the new PC the banding is gone BUT the quality still isn't as good (punchy colours) as the old PC with XP. I much prefer the look of XP to Win 7.0

Apologies - Completely misread thread"It's nice to be important but more important to be nice"

Have you restarted the computer with the monitor plugged in? i know, obvious thing, but the old have you turned it off and on again does often fix it
uninstall any installed monitor drivers, and restart the computer, make sure it's on optimal refresh rate, and resolution, rather than what you think it should be, or want it to be.
I'd actually contact point of sale and ask about it, or contact the manufacturer of the MB and enquire if this sounds like the graphics is faulty. If it's better with a card, then it's down to the graphics. Find out if it's likely to be faulty first, secondly consider upgrading to a better graphics card. You old one will be that, old, and windows 7 is a fair jump up from XP, besides which graphics cards are better than on board, there's a reason why they cost more
BUT first off find out if the on board graphics set up is the issue, ie faulty. otherwise it could be more money and not solving the problem. 0
