Me again
Seems I have a lot to say this morning - sorry.
I was thinking about the June thread (June already?????? That cannot be possible)
I will be away for two weeks at the end of June which will cross over into July
I will have access to the internet and am very willing to continue to do the June and July NSDs threads (in fact I would miss it so much if I didn't do it) BUT as I will be on holiday I cannot guarantee to be on here everyday to update the front page and the number of NSDs etc
What would you all like me to do? If someone wants to take over for June and July then I'll reluctantly let it go, but I bloomin want it back in August :rotfl::rotfl: But as long as you are all quite happy with me getting on here as and when I can then I am very happy to log in from sunny Spain
Let me know and then we can get the June thread up and runningFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Belated birthday greetings Red and also to whoever I missed.
It's amazing how many of us NSDers have birthdays in May.

Freeby - I agree with you - how can it be nearly June already
I do like your updates and sounds like you would be a little *ahem*
discombobulated if you weren't doing it - even if you are on your hols. And we can't have that can we? So, I for one would be happy for you to continue the updates even if they are slightly erratic.
And managed to hold on to #12 yesterday :j. Today should be one too - will be back later to confirm (I hope!!) :ASPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -
Morning all,
Hope we are all enjoying the sunny Bank Hols :T:T
Thanks for the update Freeby
I was reading the update this morning and it looks like there were cakes, & pizza yesterday, yum yum:D
Happy Birthday Red - couldn't work out who was being refered to until I found out if was Red & not Fred:rotfl:
Grabbed that NSD 17 with alot of effort, (but helped by a bit of previous forward planning;)). Bad news is I didn't buy some of the things the non-paying live in likes, and as he was quite ill during the night I feel a bit guilty. However he did go shopping and didn't buy them himself either so I dunno ????
Freeby, ooh sounds like you have a nice break planned. I don't think I could realisticaly (can't spell it -3rd attempt) commit to 2 months of updates, but I could probably manage 2 extra midweek days if it helps someone.
C u laterDebt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

Freeby - ta for the cowslips, they are now happily residing in a crystal vase on the mantelpiece at Chateau Nargle. Next to the bluebells. Just need to get Igor to clear a space for the sunflowers and find somewhere to park the butterflies.
Doing pretty good this month NSD-wise, because having to make final payment for DS school trip has left me without the cash to squander on nonsense like food, and I have had to be a bit creative food-wise this month. Yesterday's dinner was sausages with dustbin pasta (pasta with a sauce made out of leftover bits that would have gone in the bin in a previous life) - and it was really nice. Dessert was a lemon jelly made up with plain yoghourt into a jelly cream - indulgent but without too many calories. And we have been having home-made toffee popcorn and banana cake as snacky things.
OH birthday tomorrow - will crack on and make birthday cake (chocolate but with a vanilla cream frosting and lots of hundreds and thousands and chocolate buttons to decorate).
Payday happens midweek so the coffers will be full again - but I will be out there hunting the bargains and stocking up the freezer again.
Then to think about the June challenge.......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Freeby - you are allowed a holiday from your NSD job, and can be forgiven for turning your attention to your alternative life for a bit. If you set up the next month's thread before you go I am sure your trusty team can sort the updates. And back at Ennessdee Towers we will be keeping the fireside chair free with your embroidered cushion on it, and dire consequences will await those who dare to usurp it (don't even think about it, Igor, that is Freeby's tea mug, not a storage jar for your maggots. In fact why don't you give up fishing all together - you've had no success since the days you went trout tickling with a feather duster...)One life - your life - live it!0
