I booked east coast for a long trip (5 hours). did consider 1st but much more expensive/
However for every £50 you spend you get a voucher for the first class lounge. So did use that for us both and had loads of tea/coffee and snacks beforehand.0 -

If it is are you doing the half, full or double??

Just a bog-standard Advance ticket, using XC services, FGW is £7. Just had a look for Mon 22nd, still available at £4 - even cheaper with a railcard !
DON'T use the Trainline to buy !!!!0 -

See you there then
(I'll be the one asking OH how much further every 20mins)
I must admit I am in awe of the walkers doing the double marathon.
Have you decided whether or not to go first class?
The other things to consider is ticket splitting (it is cheaper though why I don't know!) and using tesco vouchers to use on redspottedhanky.com
(I've just seen that you've reserved your seat ....don't forget to wear the moonwalk t-shirt - in my experience people are so generous when they know what you've gone through!)2014 Target;
