utter poop this is on the front page:
egistration.net is intended to help individuals and legal entities in their administrative travel paperwork. This wesbite is not affiliated with the U.S. government website cbp.gov. Our help and assistance is offered at a price of 55euros and includes the costs of border protections of 14usd. You can get your request for 14usd on the official website of the U.S. Embassy, but in this case you will not receive our help and assitance.
ok i highlighted the relevant bit but all the rest of the text is in the font size of the siteLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

No cos they assume that the reason you chose them is that you wanted the extra services provided at the extra cost0 -
how could you? the fees are there on the site and you agreed to their t&c's its not as if its hidden is it?
chalk it up to experienceLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
right phatbear I already struggling here with a panic attack. I mean I'm happy you know what you're doing, but a simple nice answere would have sufficed me. Thanks0

its not a mater of knowing what you are doing.
if the fees they charged where hidden away I would have a bit of sympathy but its on the front page of their site so i don't understand your issue with:
a. their service
b. my replyLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

I think I'm going to set one of these sites up, almost daily on this forum there is someone crying about getting overcharged (meaning paying more than the $14 you only need to pay). I want a piece of the action.0

Why are you having a panic attack its £40 and if you can afford to go to the USA you surely can afford to spend an extra £40.
Yes it hurts but like others said it is clear on thr first page of the website you visited.
Try calling them if they have a contat number, you never know you may get lucky with a refund, otherwise put it down to experience0 -
Lots of these websites about - for ESTA, passport renewal, EHIC and even booking driving tests.
Trading Standards were, at one point, closing the EHIC websites down but I'm not sure they are anymore.
I think all the websites I've looked at clearly state that they are offering a 'value-add' service and say (and not just in the small print) that you can get the item/service free or cheaper from the official website and often include a link to that site.
Maybe that makes them legal.
Some even offer a refund if you contact them soon enough.
OP, have you checked if the website says anything about a refund?
If it doesn't or if it's too late, I think you will just have to put this down to experience and be extra careful next time you're sat at your computer with your credit card in your hand.0
