If you look at the OP link it would appear he has now actually been charged with an offence.

"*Clarification: Mr Topley was finally charged with making a ‘threat to kill’. This can be a very serious charge which can result in a long sentence depending on other aggravating factors, however in this case it seems this was not the view of the Judge."

There is more so have a read, but the writer appears to back track on the blame.

LOL, this is where the Internet falls flat on its derriere. And it's dangerous due to misinformation and idiots posting complete bull.

    And they're still blaming ATOS.

That would be as stupid as blaming Primark and the bargain hunting British public for the building collapse in Bangladesh. Oh, wait a minute a news company already have http://www.channel4.com/news/catch-up/display/playlistref/240413 "How many died making cheap clothes for us?" Errrr.. none. They have their own laws and local/national governments who should be responsible.

The guy obviously did make threats and he has hopefully learned to keep his mouth shut. He was responsible for his words.

Makes me wonder when the Doctor comes out to me soon for my DLA medical.

I hear voices that have me having to avoid being drawing in to kill my partner. So if I tell the Doctor the details of what the voices say could I end up getting assessed with the possibility of a night in the cells for safety.

Really depends I'd imagine as that is -I assume- old psychiatric news ie you've already told other professionals and you're under their care and their responsibility.

However if you come out with something that seems like an imminent threat to kill or harm then they'll be on the phone. This is nothing new.

Just watch your mouth and stick to the script because the visitor is not a friend, nor are you under their care and you should not confide in them.

So we now know what really happened -- the case has been heard in open court. The judge was really reassuring to him.

    (Report in Guardian.)
