Share certificate - leasehold management SALE

Hi
Hoping someone can help or may be able to offer some advice.
I am due to exchange on my leasehold flat tomorrow and they have just asked for a copy of my share certificate.... All I have is a piece of paper not signed with my name on saying I have a share for a £1. No dates, no signatures and I honestly don't think it's from the management company it's a confirmation when I brought it from the solicitors.
I've signed the transfer form to transfer my share anyway to the new purchaser. Do you think this will be enough if I don't have a certificate?
If not, is this something they would be able to take an indemnity out for?

Send it over and say this is it it was never signed. they can check that you were registered on the Company register and on line at Companies HouseStop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
