Ah - no I don't make them myself - unless I can claim removing the 'Mr Brains' faggots from their box & putting them in the oven as making them myself!
Found a fab bargain in the Co-op last month 6 faggots for price of 4, plus buy one get one free.... so I stocked up !
I'd love to know how to make them like that though - cause we all think they are lovely.... Off to search the net now!
Not much on the net - here is my new thread !!!"A simple life freely chosen is a source of strength. Do not be pursuaded into buying what you do not need or cannot afford." Quaker Faith & Practice 1.02.410 -
Gosh, hasn't the week gone quickly?!
Last week's Oxtail casserole was absolutely amazing, so we'll definitely be having that agin in a couple of weeks.
Right, here's the Danna house meal plan:
Saturday: Chicken salad for me, Gammon for DH
sunday: HM Sausages or Burgers, see what we feel like
Monday: Lamb chops with lyonnaise potatoes or similar
Tuesday: Cottage Pie
Wednesay: HM Battered Place, using Gary RHodes' superb recipe
Thursday: Chicken Patak, with HM naan or chapati
Friday: HM Soup (flavour tbd) for me, Spare Rib Pork in something for DH
Saturday: My brother's bday, so will be out somewhere
I'm continuing to try to overcome my fish phobia. The batter on my HM battered cod was outstanding, the fish was...fishy textured but fortunately cod doesn't taste of much. Have never tried plaice, so thought i'd give that a go next week.0 -
