Can I cancel item

Say you want a refund. If they refuse - you can refuse the parcel and let it go back (if your away just dont collect it).
They are probably using a 3rd party site like parcel2go - the couriers often fail to collect.
But they could have put an higher dispatch time to allow for this. I put 5 days for collection items.0 -
Yes, which is why I said it was only estimated. At time of payment the buyer doesnt know if the seller is prompt or late to post.the_lunatic_is_in_my_head wrote: »Although it's estimated that estimate in this case is based on it being posted on the 23rd or 24th and then 48 hours for delivery so the seller is late in dispatching compared to the time in which they said they would do so when listing.the_lunatic_is_in_my_head wrote: »Don't use Parcelforce but does 48 sometimes arrive the next day? Seems odd to have two dates for a service that is specifically 48 hours (although not surprising considering eBay puts these dates together).
I dont use them, but i have a supplier who does us them to send to me. I dont get Saturday delivery from them, I rarely get Saturday delivery from any courier. If it is true 48 hours with a Friday collection, then Monday would be 24, Tuesday 48.
48 hours could be 24 in some ares and 72 in other, Northern Ireland to London clearly would take longer than Southamptin to London, I wonder if this is why there are both estimates and no firm single date.0 -
Just email the seller and say you'd like to cancel as it will arrive too late.
Was it something for holiday? As otherwise can't you just collect it when you get home?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Done that yesterday, seller hasn't had the curtsey to reply to my email.halibut2209 wrote: »I'd definitely be asking to cancelhalibut2209 wrote: »big fat neg and low stars
