Hi TS, how you doing? :D

Ok thanks locarr, getting things sorted out bit by bit. Have found my hall floor, and some of my kitchen tops. Never going to leave Mr TS in charge for 6 weeks again.

Not my best day today. Got trouted 3 times in one Sada shop!
Put my 10 mullers through as first shop (I know they don't glitch, but still give £1.22p APG), the SA put them through en bloc. Was not happy when I asked to have them done separately......supervisor called. Whole lot voided, and we started again. Handed over APG to cover most of the £4, but somehow he made it so they owed me 25p! I had added it up very carefully, so he must have entered one on wrongly. Supervisor called again, voided the voucher, I had nothing to pay.
So on to the main shop, all went through, APG handed over, he scribbled on them to the point of destruction, and then decided he didn't like the last one. I asked why, and he said well you only spent 5p on this receipt after deductions but the voucher is for £4.25p, that can't be right. I said I didn't think he understood the system, so he called the supervisor again! I was getting a bit fed up by now. He said he would take the £4.25p off as long as he could keep the receipt. I was past caring by now, paid up and left before the bloomin' supervisor came again.

Going to have something to eat now but hoping to be back to fight the bilge later. :D
  • Whoops. Just had a Tesco Home Panel survey about in-store experiences. Had to let it all out.

I am looking for something peak summer hols - between 11-28th Aug, DH's leave. So far we are thinking of cruising, Celebrity have a fab deal on if I can get the nerve to book with a US TA.

What sort of deals are there usually last minute in August?

I find it hard to wait till last minute as I am a planner.:o

It's a bit of a gamble tbh...book too early and you pay too much...book too late and you may miss the hols you want....I wouldn't leave it till the very last moment but keep you eye on it...pref from Squillion dollars PC!!;):D

Post 901 now finished!! (I'm not sure even I myself can understand it - but it's as accurate as I can make it, can anyone spot anything or find what's on MSM for them - and whether they've got multibuys on there and what's missing them?)

(I may be trying too hard, when in fact the answer is right under my face and far more straightforward.)

How much are the flights either side of yours?!

you have porbably bumped the price of yours by booking early...should have held your nerve......I saved best part of £800 pounds by holding out for a better deal on my summer hols and that was during the peak summer school break!!;)

Hi Locarr, I already booked them at a cheaper price but have to keep it a bit stumm from the woman with the brains in our family :D

So just observing how the price is evolving, she is basically saying we can go now but I have to go on the wagon for 2 months.

Would love to do one of these :D
