Brick will be through the bloomin window in a minute.

Had to move 4p clothes stash in big holdall to get to drawer with old phone boxes in mine did not have a USB or software disk but DD2s samsung that went through the wash did, different model but cable fitted. :T

But have no idea which order I am meant to do things. So connected using cable and it said software was installed without me putting cd in but then it thought my phone was a modem.

Ok stayed calm and started to install software from cd, says drivers installed but then pc suite is not supported. I guess windows 7 not out then. Back to drawing board. :(

Should have explained, have DD3s old phone well lot newer than mine and I thought I could just put my sim in her phone when she got in from school. But DD1 says my sim may not work in it. I want to stay on my number and decent PAYG talk/text plan that I have as not available anymore. But she thinks I may have to go to O2 shop to get it all sorted with a more up to date sim. Think mine is from 2001/2:eek:

Contact your mobile supplier and tell them you've damaged your sim - they should send you a new one.

Yes somehow managed to get it back on so can type in numbers but not actually ring them and guess I would get incoming calls ok. Just can't access any menus on the phone to do anything.

Went on Samsungs site for help looks like my phone is not supported by windows 7. All the details for it are in the archive. :(

Now I guess I need an old computer with XP on, . Going round in circles here. And have eaten a whole layer of Just to Say chocs.

    Hi

The Tresemme 2 for £5 offer in A ended yesterday, but there are loads of the old sels still up - most products should now be in the 3 for £10 offer but many haven't been relabelled and the items now go through the till between £4.50 to £5 each.

So if you see these sels, grab two different items in the offer, you will probably pay between £9 and £10, get £4/£5 refunded as overcharge and £4 giftcard :) So just £1 for both items :j

And, most of these are also bogof at S, so potential of another £5.50 back if included in an A vs S shop. Picked up some Argan Oil serum this morning for peanuts and fingers crossed will be paid to take it away once APG results are in.

Hope other stores have the ood sels up - think it will work on any Tresemme products labelled 2 for £5 :)

What lovely wombling weather collected 37 sada receipts :D, 10 sprite 50p off vouchers which they were handing out with small cans of sprite, so free refreshments too, and a few can to take home for the kids, and a couple of bags for life.

Lets hope some of them give a good apg :D

With any tablet, the more memory the better, as you will want to put films on it as well as music. 16GB doesn't go very far with a few DVD's.

Unless you are desperate for an iPad, so consider the Samsung - half the price and it can take microSD cards so memory would never be an issue.

If size doesn't matter, consider a 7" Galaxy Tab, or even the Blackberry Playbook (just over £100 for 64GB - a great media playing device, so long as you don't want a lot of pointless Apps)

We have all of them - iPad, Ipods, iPhones, Galaxy Tab, S3 and Playbook. Each has its benefits, and if money is no object then Apple is fine. If you are one a budget, then Samsung. If you are really on a budget, then the Playbook.

Before anyone says - all these were bought on deals: The Tab on the Xmas cashback deal, pricematched to the CPW blinding price; the Playbook last year when Currys dropped it to £129; the S3 on a Vodafone retention deal etc etc :D

Thanks bikertov.Looks like its between apple and samsung.

Move away from the chocs :D
Edit When you said earlier the pc sees it as a modem did you double click on it and see if it opened your phone up so you could go wombling for contacts :D

    Hi cot.
I like the samsung phones as i find them very user friendly. Also being mse the cost comes into it but it is a bonus so do i just blow it .Im going to have to play with the tab and ipad i think. Thanks cot.
I have a touchpad, Mum and sister have Galaxy, Hubby has I pad, I would say the Ipad wins the race before the others get started. Im not an apple junkie, but the pure quality and speed leaves the others standing.
If it was a cost thing, the Galaxy would be good enough I would say, cost aside and its Apple for me.
BTW Hubby uses it for photos and videos all the time and the quality is excellent.

Edit, OH has a samsung phone and cant wait to get an Iphone when his contract is out.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
