Should have explained, have DD3s old phone well lot newer than mine and I thought I could just put my sim in her phone when she got in from school. But DD1 says my sim may not work in it. I want to stay on my number and decent PAYG talk/text plan that I have as not available anymore. But she thinks I may have to go to O2 shop to get it all sorted with a more up to date sim. Think mine is from 2001/2:eek:
right dont think sims have changed in size as such apart from certain phones now use micro sims.
So how are you going to get your numbers off the brick then that's the problem. When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

So do I downgrade and keep my S3 to Virgin's £12 tariff or do I upgrade to Voda's £37 a month S4, or do I downgrade to an iPhone 5 and pay stupid money for dated technology - hmmm?!
Any ideas anyone?!
I say keep the S3 and get a cheap SIM-only for a year. Take it through Quidco etc for a bit of cashback too ? Much more MSE :j
Or, see what Vodafone will do on a retention deal. I 'cancelled' 3 phones with them earlier this year, Within 2 hours they were on the phone to me. Got 2 S3's with the Unlimited / 2GB deal + 300 0800/0845/0870 mins for £21 a month with free phones, and a good Blackberry free with the same unlimited deal for £16.50.
The S3 is a brilliant phone - better than the iPhone IMHO - as it is not Apple (so not locked down) can take a microSD card etc.
I mean, do people really need such powerful phones, that effectively cost £400 or more ?
Is the S4 that much better to warrant paying so much ? There will probably be an S5 in 6-12 months, so you could pick up an S4 a lot cheaper then if you want !0
