Yes seems strange and not the best with car tetris going on:eek:
Lady this morning said she was going to talk to her manager. They get paid enough to get it right. Funeral Director even asked me yesterday at the house whether we were stopping or slowing down past mine so of course I assumed she knew exactly where mine was.
Now my bloomin ancient phone has broken and I stupidly don't have any of my numbers saved to SIM, what was I thinking.
It's on but none of the keys on the slidy up bit are working except the off button. Not sure how I managed to get it back on after putting PIN back in, bashed all the keys at once. :mad:0 -
A big thankyou to those of you who suggested using the free toms to make dinner. We had a very nice MSE dinner last night.
2 tins of toms thrown in blender, 1 chopped onion and threw in a beef stock cube (I need to invest in some herbs!)
Used nearly a whole bag of pasta and a tin of cheapie meatballs and threw the whole lot together.
Think the whole lot probably cost 60p and I was dead chuffed with the result
I'm not a chef but this could actually be quite fun, I'm so glad you guys gave me ideas :T
Hi, there's lots of Annabel Karmel recipes that use tinned toms...
For the older children...
Add 1/4 tsp mild chilli powder, 1 tsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp caster sugar...simmer for 10 mins then add 1 tbsp fresh basil and 2 tbsp grated Parmesan.
Can be used as a base for a pizza topping.....if u don't like Dr O:rotfl:
Or add a few meat balls or a tin of tuna to make a pasta sauce.
For those weening or with little ones this has no sugar..it uses carrots for there natural sweetness!
baby bolognese sauce one..1/2 small onion red or brown, 1 carrot, 1/2 tsp Tom pur!e, 1 tin toms, 1 reduced salt stock cube,
Simmer gently until the carrots are tender and blitz, you can also put in mushrooms, courgettes etc. use as a pasta sauce, serve with chicken, mince, beef...list is endless really
Carrots do change the texture a little, makes the sauce a little gritty but you could always cook carrots separately and pur!e then add to the cooked sauce..You've already got 2 of your 5 a day...any leftovers I freeze for a quick meal with pasta..hth0 -

Gosh my extras had taken down all the Easter clip strips on Easter Bank holiday Monday. They were on a trolley at one.
I did think about hanging a few back up again for laters, but was not brave enough.0 -
