Thanks Artha. Have you compared it to an iPad and if so what did you think :) ?

No afraid not. DD has "i everything" but I've never used an ipad. The Galaxy Tab2 was for DW. I still use my archos £49 tablet as it does everything I need to do.

I actually got the Tab2 for an effective £25 after taking into account the maximum trade up value of the points., returning a golden DTD and HH voucher;) so it wasn't exactly a purchase on the technical merits of the Samsung Tab2:D

Can anyone tell me what is in these, managed to get 1 box today but there's no card to tell me what chocolates are what

It’s Mothering Sunday on 10th March and that’s the day to show your Mum she’s really special. Nothing could be better than a gorgeous box of chocolates from Award Winning Chocolatiers Lir - and we’ve got eight to give away!

It‘s a beautiful sparkly Glitter Box with a neat pull-out drawer filled with Lir’s mouth-watering ‘Contemporary Collection Chocolates’, usually only available from Tesco for £15. It includes some of their most fab flavour combos such as Raspberry Compote Truffle with a hint of a mint and Brazil Nut & Honeycomb crunch and each chocolate is finished with a beautiful floral design. It’s perfect really – flowers, Lir chocolates and a pretty keepsake box – all in one!

A big thankyou to those of you who suggested using the free toms to make dinner. We had a very nice MSE dinner last night.
2 tins of toms thrown in blender, 1 chopped onion and threw in a beef stock cube (I need to invest in some herbs!)
Used nearly a whole bag of pasta and a tin of cheapie meatballs and threw the whole lot together.
Think the whole lot probably cost 60p and I was dead chuffed with the result :D
I'm not a chef but this could actually be quite fun, I'm so glad you guys gave me ideas :T
Check out the Old Style Money savers thread. They have thousands of cheap meal ideas. The OH experiments with them all the time -some good, some bad.

My favourite to come from it for simplicity and cost has to be hodogs in a flask for going to theme parks! Very MSE!
