Morries cakes are very nice according to my D/M 90 much better quality than Ts or As ,whoopsied her a few this week, not bad selection ,have to admit lots of jam in the doughnuts ,and good texture.
That's a shame we don't have a Morries down here. It changed to a Waities quite a few years ago.0 -

I have never been into make-up much except my eyes. I am 31 and am going away soon so fancy a new lipstick for a change. I would want one which will stay on for approx. 6 hours as I hate re-applying ect. I like the wet lips look on Cheryl cole that is advertising the L'Oreal Paris GlamShine Stain Splash I think on the adverts.
Can anyone recommend anything similar to this or anywhere that this one is on offer please?
Thank you xx

Expensive brand alert??
(I'll have a look; other folks: also do likewise!)
Also being influenced by something because it's on advertising is, to me, a sure way of being led into overspending!! I recall it being in one of those 'super-scrimper' books or whatever they were called, from the early 90s: along the lines of "think, are you buying this because you saw it on last night's TV advertising??..." (may be an exact quote, judging by Savvy's memory:D:rotfl:.)

I am one of the unfortunate few who had a LOT of points removed during the last round of pre-order games with 500 points. They were all bought fair and square, and the first I knew they had been removed was when I logged into my account and saw a great big minus figure.
Caused a lot of problems, and there was a lot of people in the same boat. I did eventually get refunded the cash for all the £5's I had paid out, but it put me waaaaaaay over the radar at my local store.
Just a warning really, that clubcard can and do remove points with no notice.
read a bit about it and was surprised as i got a few:o and got all my points.Im trying to work out then what your buying to get so many points if not the game.Good luck to you what ever it is i say.0 -

Ive been looking online and you can seem to do everything from casseroles, beans on toast, steaks, fish.
That does seem a bit strange no hob or oven:cool:
Yeah we managed a decent roast out of it. I think it's a bit like a microwave in that once you know what you can do with it you'll be fine.
We made a smashing bread and butter pudding as well and it's fab for heating up pies from the butchers
No fried eggs for breakfast though.
To be fair, the place was a converted gatehouse and had a massive bathroom, but they'd clearly sacrificed the kitchen space to get that. Enough space for a fridge, larder and sink and the cooker stood on the counter top. Luckily the cooker came with a recipe book but we did google a few more recipes.

If the Coupon Queen who was at the checkout at As in B'mouth this afternoon at 3.30 is reading this, please can you organize your A4 folder so that you have your coupons ready and not have to search through your folder for them. It was very frustrating for the people in the queue behind you.
It was not me MKS, I have a tiny A5 folder.
Guess I will see if anyone has owned up when I am caught up. :rotfl:0 -
Has anyone been refused to use the pizza MOCs?
DH went to Tosco for whoopsies so I asked him to pick up two more pizzas while he was there. He got trouted on SS. SA said that 'they don't take those'. I've used them several times this week in that store, no problems.
She also refused two printed Parioli MOCs as 'they had been photocopied'.
He told her that they were from the online mag but she was having none of it. He didn't want to draw loads of attention to the free tomatoes so just got them and the pizzas voided off.
Just wondered if anyone else had had issues with the pizza vouchers though?
Mine did not scan and was put through as non scan.0 -
