Essential viewing if you drive a car and need to buy a car.

Could be the best 45 minutes you have spent in terms of money saved, in your life.
Key message, perhaps: do not buy a 3YO+ diesel car.0 -

Oh yes, BE Veg Fingers (10) are in the '2 for £3' deal in A, so can buy them vs M (outside N Ireland sorry) with the Nestle Smarties cones (assuming they are still a trigger, and they were yesterday).
But this was an impulse (of sorts!) in-store. Couldn't find some items in the supermarket, so knew the BE Veg Fingers were £1 at M so risked a £2 stake on them! And it worked. But my blooming store didn't have a "2 for £3" showing on them:(. So missed out on trigger.
That said, although Nestle Cones are certainly becoming more useful in the sunshiny weather we've had - than the previous weather when this was first discovered - I've already had them on my previous shop and freezer now full again! Would have given same APG back, except I'd have spent a pound more if I had bought the Cones (2 for £3 deal, instead of BE Veg Fingers alone - £2). Instead, should have saved 50p by not getting those bath sponges!:D
"See what you can save." Or, in my case this time, what I could have saved. Here's what you could have won...Bully for you.:)
[Edit: Sorry I should make it more clear...
An option avail. to readers outside N. Ireland:
1x Birds Eye Vegetable Fingers (10 per pack)
1x Nestle Smarties Cones (4)
On a comp. vs M. ]0 -
Can I ask has anyone on here done probate themselves. I will look on the forum when I get the forms through. But got a cheque today to the EXORs of ................... I did read somewhere I have to open a bank account for the estate. Was hoping could just transfer it all into my name as I am sole beneficiary. Not sure if the Building Society will accept the check now as accounts frozen and I already have final account figures from them.
Guess I should have asked our resident accountant.0 -
