When he got sent to prsion, i said to her the only justice here is thats where he will die and hopefully his life will be hell from other prisoners, he died about 3 years later

This makes me so :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: how can anyone choose a low life like that over their own child is beyond me

Unfortunately it's less uncommon than you think. often parents have had an awful upbringing themselves and just don't see it as wrong horrible I know. Or they believe their partners over the children. Some are just plain evil. And some men /women pray on lonely vulnerable people with young children so they can groom both.
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:

It's awful Bubbs, I know a family member whose whole life was coloured by abuse in her childhood, even though it was less severe than what you have described it cast a shadow over her.

I also know of a family who lived nearby where the wife put her son into care as her husband was coming out of prison and he had been sent to prison for abusing the boy. As they obviously weren't allowed to live together she chose her husband.

A few years ago a young girl and her boyfriend were shot dead by her stepdad. Apparently he had been spying on the girl in the bath and they caught him. They hid in the bathroom and called the police when they realised he had a gun. He killed both of them but the mother stood by him even after what he had done.
