That is what I see as odd, my friends haven't been through such experiences. Let's hope my friends reflect society better and it really just is some celebrities and a few others that can't behave, rather than a national trait and I am lucky to have friends unscathed.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I've had problems with these, some SAs won't accept them so I've tried using the Self Service. Went to get tomatoes yesterday but they were still £1 a tin on SEL so went for penne and fusilli pasta (65p) but the coupons did not work at the SS, got the same error message as above about minimum spend not met.
If / when the toms go back to 50p a tin does anyone know how many I can get through the SS without the light flashing?
According to my local T's Manager (and also HQ/CS) checkout staff are supposed to put T's own coupons through as non scan if they won't scan and staff have checked that you have got the right products. T's own coupons often won't scan and its well known instore that there may be problems.
Its worth sticking your heels in - especially with the pasta etc where you aren't actually getting the item free. The tomatoes are 50p already - the SEL must have been an old one.ELITE 5:2

however today quaver + 2 baked stars (original/ready salted) didn't show on apg at all, so either its being fixed or only cheese & onion out of baked stars compare?0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Thanks - it's a matter of looking out for those good offers and using them (while avoiding the ones, e.g. 160 extra points off £40 spend) that don't make sense to use, unless you're already spending £40 which I'm not). Twenty quid on clothes, plus perhaps a single item that's a few pence cheaper at A/T (and at least 10% cheaper at A), then don't have to do a full grocery BM shop as well. Although exceeding the £20 by much if I had a WYS £20 would be an issue for me. Good one though might be £20 clothes and a £2.50 item that's £1 elsewhere (using £2.50 of Nectar points if you have them) - since the Nectar reward spend doesn't count towards the £20, but this way you can have £2.50 then £1.50 back. Perhaps a Belvita? Good as S now have a BOGOF on that, that ruins the BM - so only buy one! Make sure your £20 clothes aren't costing more than they would elsewhere.
Don't worry savvy I will be a good girl and make sure I leave clothes in car ready for a refund on next visit.

I may have misunderstood, but I used £20 of nectar points recently towards 2 lots of 24 x coke and a hair gel, which brand matched against Tosco, and I got a £9.98 Bm, coupon back. hth
Me too, thanks to viking:j
