FC - IT has only halved for about 6 of the 100 that they do. Look at the list HERE. I send my supplier the list and he sends me 100 point ones - a mix of any of them.

    As the dude said

I've discussed this at length for some time with friends. My local now has a beauty salon in it and a nice sized cafe. I'm sure that given time, Tosco will have doctors, dentists, gyms, a cinema, food places and all other such things under their roof. Why wouldn't they? Town centres are, I'm afraid, a thing of the past.

To be fair FC, I think you are going about this all wrong. Think of the saying 'keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer.' At least when the slugs are in the kitchen, they cant eat your veggies ;)

no...no...that's wrong. They only send a few to munch on the pet foods as a distraction to the ones that eat my veggies

I have an extra weapon this year...don't laugh please :rotfl::rotfl: a baseball cap from lidl with built in LED lights in the cap.....leaving me hands free to salt the sluggers:rotfl::rotfl: it's the best thing ever :D

Right I'm off for a beer and to watch some TV (I know, it doesn't happen often!).

The wife is delivering emergency rations to one of her friends on FB. She has fallen on hard times and is absolutely skint. She is now stocked up with all manner of food, washing stuff, choices, a smelly candle and some wine to cheer her up. Not forgetting stock cubes and flumps lol.

    Every little helps...

I have noted that the APG can be one hour out when entering receipts (it says you entered your receipt one hour different to what you did) - I also note in the APG info it says it is updated by 10am. Is that the significance of 8am matching at full price but 9am not? We know that APG isn't matching "live" as the prices people report at the point of purchase, or the point of getting their APG result, don't necessarily match what they can see on MSM (and MSM can be different logged in or out...).

If we could know for sure when the price on MSM is reflected in the APG results we would have more accuracy in knowing whether a glitch (no-multi showing but appears on receipt, or indeed other type!) would work or not.

It was clear yesterday and Sunday that Dove Pro Age kept appearing and disappearing from the 2 for £3 deal on MSM. People kept buying and reported it still matching at the full price all day yesterday (at times when it was appearing or not in the £2 for £3) so does it, as their information suggests, normally only update once per day (in time for 10am) and then that is normally locked in until the next by-10am next day update? We know sometimes that is not always the case as people's APG results have differed during the day with some getting caught out when a glitched price has ended (and indeed when glitches have sometimes appeared part way through the day!) while others have carried on buying when it has apparently been updated on MSM, but they have still got the glitched price - so the relevance of the overnight/early morning update is one key factor. When it ends part way through a day, it may be that a manual override is being used?

Yesterday if I recall Dove ended the day showing in the 2 for £3 but Sunday evening it wasn't (so Monday it was then stuck at the full/non-2 for £3 price, and this morning pre-10am update it locked in the 2 for £3)?

The APG rules claim that it matches T/S/W with prices correct on the day of purchase from their websites (errors and omissions excepted!) with Morrisons twice a week. Yet we have also experienced examples where offers have not appeared in APG results despite clearly showing on Ts and MSM that day for example.

So in summary, there must be logic in there somewhere as it is a computer (even where there is a glitch - that may be a result of data being entered incorrectly either by their screen scaper/website reader or someone with fat fingers!), it is just working out what logic it is following ... on that day at that time!

    Wow, that's a long post!:eek::rotfl:

Righto, so whether offence, amusement, bemusement, great joy or otherwise, that's all from me on here for tonight!:money:

(Although that's not me, that's Martin, but anyway you know what I mean...!!..)

I'll lurk for a short time now, and read Anon's post. Good to catch up with you all today.

    Goodnight!

[Edit : I'm thinking around 6am. That's the time by which the overnight updates are complete (probably!). Three hours after being 9am??? I could be totally off the mark though on this.]:D:D

The same - will Toys R Us last much longer? I can't see it - online maybe. Here is a classic example why.

My DS1 bought THIS in Toys R us. It is available HERE for 1/3rd of the price. HE won't be going there again he's told me - he's 11.

PS - THis is a really good price at Amazon if anyone wants these Nerf bullets with a clip system.

    Evening all......

Sorry, this isn't a shopping news update, but another evening of :j:j:j I just have to share this news with you.... it's nearly as good as Norwich beating Chelsea last night. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We have a local family of Peregrine Falcons nesting in the City on the Cathedral, a great way of keeping the pigeon population down!) and the Hawk and Owl Trust run a live camera link. I love following them, and we had 2 chicks that fledged last year.

Had it running in the background and heard a crunching noise..... Mum, who has been diligently sitting on 4 eggs for just over 4 weeks, even in the snow, was seen munching on a nice large lump of egg shell at 10.50pm......

Was hoping to get a first view of chick tonight, but looks like i'll have to wait till morning.

Ohhhhh the next few weeks will be fun! :D
