But I thought they had a limit of 5 or so point exchanges for cartridges per year?
I got hold of quite a few cartridges somewhere (think it was a boffer unlucky bag a few years ago, but it wasn't on tescos list. :(

You can do 100 per household per calendar year. Some of us have many addresses!

    Interesting.

Could be their not as busy as they thought they would be with the larger store.

    This is an interesting article:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2013/mar/17/supermarkets-realise-size-no-longer-key-to-universe

My local store isn't as big as yours, think it's 110'000sqft. It too has a mezzanine floor, as seemed all the rage in the last few years for Mr T. Is their really enough demand for tv, vacumns, headphones etc to justify the space?

In my area they are also cancelling the planned expansions of some of the intermediate size stores and business news I've read states that they are going to focus more on smaller stores/convenience stores. Your article is in line with that.

I've been planning to join a gym again so news could be good in one way...two of my favourite activities under one roof:rotfl:

there is a limit, but I can't remember what it is. I do know the amount of point for HP cartridges has halved :(

well now that we've established DMs neighbours are not AEs

......I've just been slugging  I set a cat buscuit trap. And sure enough there they were....heading in the direction of the trap and I now know where they're getting in:D

my job for tomorrow.....stop the sluggers get in my kitchen again.

Had actually forgotten how satisfying going slugging of a night is :o:rotfl:

To be fair FC, I think you are going about this all wrong. Think of the saying 'keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer.' At least when the slugs are in the kitchen, they cant eat your veggies ;)

I've discussed this at length for some time with friends. My local now has a beauty salon in it and a nice sized cafe. I'm sure that given time, Tosco will have doctors, dentists, gyms, a cinema, food places and all other such things under their roof. Why wouldn't they? Town centres are, I'm afraid, a thing of the past.

FC - IT has only halved for about 6 of the 100 that they do. Look at the list HERE. I send my supplier the list and he sends me 100 point ones - a mix of any of them.

Not right there FC. Some only get 50 not 100.

    But most get 100.

Avoid 364s AFAIR but look at the list first.

    Hello.
I'm probably in and out tonight as other things to do (like sleep for instance!!:D:rotfl:). I've decided - do I 'sugar-coat' this post and spend ages trying to work out precisely how best to word it, or do I just write straight out what I'm thinking? I think I'll just come straight out with it...my brutal honesty to be respected, so if I'm referring to your shopping, please ignore this post and skip to whoever's next if I come across too bluntly (and harsher than intended).

Ohoh - this is going to cause annoyance...from my habit of being sometimes annoyingly right, but nonetheless...

First, regarding the Dove Pro Age, I thought this wouldn't be glitching all day today and, to be frank, it's lucky it glitched at all (early on today). Last night, I saw the multibuy back on and posted on here about it. I thought this glitch was not going to last much longer - and, as it turns out, it's been corrected by the overnight updating of the APG from MSM. It's therefore no surprise to me that shops at 8am worked but those at 9am didn't and, yet again, (somewhat annoyingly to others) it turns out I was correct here.

(Just bear with me a sec, as I've a second thing to add - response to other posts from today.) Thanks.
    [Being edited]

I have noted that the APG can be one hour out when entering receipts (it says you entered your receipt one hour different to what you did) - I also note in the APG info it says it is updated by 10am. Is that the significance of 8am matching at full price but 9am not? We know that APG isn't matching "live" as the prices people report at the point of purchase, or the point of getting their APG result, don't necessarily match what they can see on MSM (and MSM can be different logged in or out...).

If we could know for sure when the price on MSM is reflected in the APG results we would have more accuracy in knowing whether a glitch (no-multi showing but appears on receipt, or indeed other type!) would work or not.

It was clear yesterday and Sunday that Dove Pro Age kept appearing and disappearing from the 2 for £3 deal on MSM. People kept buying and reported it still matching at the full price all day yesterday (at times when it was appearing or not in the £2 for £3) so does it, as their information suggests, normally only update once per day (in time for 10am) and then that is normally locked in until the next by-10am next day update? We know sometimes that is not always the case as people's APG results have differed during the day with some getting caught out when a glitched price has ended (and indeed when glitches have sometimes appeared part way through the day!) while others have carried on buying when it has apparently been updated on MSM, but they have still got the glitched price - so the relevance of the overnight/early morning update is one key factor. When it ends part way through a day, it may be that a manual override is being used?

Yesterday if I recall Dove ended the day showing in the 2 for £3 but Sunday evening it wasn't (so Monday it was then stuck at the full/non-2 for £3 price, and this morning pre-10am update it locked in the 2 for £3)?

The APG rules claim that it matches T/S/W with prices correct on the day of purchase from their websites (errors and omissions excepted!) with Morrisons twice a week. Yet we have also experienced examples where offers have not appeared in APG results despite clearly showing on Ts and MSM that day for example.

So in summary, there must be logic in there somewhere as it is a computer (even where there is a glitch - that may be a result of data being entered incorrectly either by their screen scaper/website reader or someone with fat fingers!), it is just working out what logic it is following ... on that day at that time!
