In options, the start up menu is worth a look.
I've disabled programs that don't need to run on start, and the effect is a faster boot
Do you use Hibernate? That's all I ever do. I only restart to install or update something. I boot in around 8 seconds.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

No need, my lappie over heats after an hour so gets regular reboot.
