So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

Forget dates on tinned tomatoes, they will be OK for years, never mind months. Unless the tins are dented, in which case forget the date, they could well be tainted, even if they're dated 2025.

thanks for this. the one that fell out of the cupboard and hit me on the head is dented. i will use it straight away :)

Just waht I've been doing. Had a few minutes shut eye at about 11am and just woken up:o No wonder I never get anything done.

    Are you through tonight?
    :rotfl:
I wouldnt think so as we are knee deep in rubbish in youngest sons room  as I had the misfortune to go in there last night to try and find a laptop charger as ours had stopped working for whatever reason.
New one ordered from ebay but now we need the grime squad or whatever in to sort out his room :o
