what did you decide about the interview mimi?

Hey sweetie. Not decided yet. It's later on in the week. Like you said, might as well go for it, can turn it down if they offer it to me (which they won't because I will end up bricking it and talking bullish). Still unsure though. :o

Hahaha. Can't blame them. Do they taste OK or are they just your typical awful diet bar things? I quite fancied the mint choc ones, but I was not prepared to pay 50p for one! Hell no....:o:o:o

They taste OK but they're pretty chewy

aw mimi Im sure you won't. If interviews scare you that much then the practise will be good for you. You can use it when a job comes along that you do want x

But the siblings could well have their own children by then and their caring side may have developed. I have friends who are nearing 50 with autistic siblings and they realise that the responsibility will rest with them.

Who knows what life will bring. I do feel that there is more awareness of autism now and the numbers are sufficiently large that as a society we know that we have a responsibility to care for those whose carers are no longer around.

Saying that I have a friend who has an autistic daughter whose needs were so great that she has needed to be in a residential setting since the age of 3. When she used to come home for holidays the family found it very stressful. The work that the unit have done is amazing. She is now (aged 24) moving in with a young man who lives in the unit with her. Obviously they will both need support for ever, but this is something that was beyond the parents wildest dreams when she was younger.

Bit random but what about a hairdresser voucher to have a cut and blow dry? Or a lovely afternoon tea somewhere?

Thanks for the reply - good idea but unfortunately she has alopecia, and has to wear a wig, so anything to do with hair is out. Both trying to diet so no afternoon tea, which would have been nice.

just spotted these Quorn on a womble if anyone interested? on offer at 2 for £3 @ A's and comparing to Morries
    2 x Quorn Burgers (6 per pack - 300g) £3.00 £1.82
    2 x Quorn Sausages (8 per pack - 336g) £3.00 £1.82

    hths

Where have you been?:D These have been showing (well hidden!) in my Avs M list here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=60884399&postcount=155

However I've done a similar thing earlier today (as shown by my post no. 2702 above) - I used MSM for a product to say would be good to compare vs N/A everywhere else but failed to notice a womble posted on here had already showed it as comparing much more expensive elsewhere!

As regards these Quorn Burgers/Sausages, the 2 for £3.00 offer, according to the womble, is showing on the APG, so it doesn't make sense to buy 2 for a m'buy glitch as there isn't one here. You only need 1, as "M's price is cheaper than 10% more expensive than the multibuy price divided by the number you need to buy to qualify for the multibuy" (another Savvybunny classic again!:rotfl::rotfl:).

However, these Burgers/Sausages are in the same A multibuy as the Nestle Smarties Cones, which have been not appearing on the APG despite showing on MSM - so, if you bought just one Quorn Burgers pack together with the Cones, or only one Quorn Sausages pack with the Cones, this would probably give a glitch. It isn't very good, however, on the Sausages, as they're £1.58 a pack, which is only 8p more than £3.00/2 = £1.50. It's better on the Burgers as they would be 2 for £3, with one pack of Smarties cones, then APG probably sees (if the Cones still aren't being picked up) £1.89 (one pack of sausages) vs 91p M.

Of course depends whether you need/want that combo of items. I think this is more likely than not to still be working. Where the Nestle cones are a trigger (i.e. if this does work), you'll need an extra different item as the Cones won't count towards the 8 items. And this isn't avail. in Northern Ireland, as it's against M's.

If this doesn't work, the Cones are £2.49 in M!  (I think: I'm not paying too much attention to high prices I'm afraid!:o)

Thanks for confirming the Quorn Burgers/Sausages are comparing vs M on the APG (at least for last Wednesday's APG price collection which might go into tomorrow).
