Mobile Phones that come sim free and retailers that supply them????
Options
A lot of questions have been asked recently about who supplies what mobile phones and on what networks that come sim free - that is to say that sim cards from any or most networks can be used in them, despite their being supplied for use with a particular network.
It seems that Dialaphone are very good at supplying sim free phones.
I have just got two Nokia 5300 on T Mobile that have just accepted Vodafone sim cards. I suspected they may be sim free as there was no hint of T Mobile logos etc on the box when they arrived.
Last year I got two Motorola V3s One was sim free the other was not. The one that was not sim free I found had been bought in specially and flashed with the T Mobile software on DAPs behalf (it was originally destined for the middle east market. The other, although it had the T Mobile graphics, was sim free.
The V3 that was not sim free caused a number of problems and I eventually managed to pursuade the insurance co/dialaphone to swap it for a Nokia 6111. That was sim free.
Dialaphone also supplied DD2s Pink 6111. That was sim free. However CPW supplied DD1s Samsung D600. That was locked to T Mobile.
Which other suppliers provide sim free phones?

Surely you mean unlocked and not sim free?
The term "sim free" anlthough not grammatically correct, generallys refers to a phone that has not been locked to a specific network nor flashed with their branded firmware. What is known as a "vanilla" phone.
Sim free=free from any connection to a specific service provider.
In reply to the OP CPW are known for having a high proportion of sim free phones.0
