No line rental options...

I was with VM for a number of years until I moved away for work last year and cancelled with them. Now back and have just bought a new house and am looking for a new internet package that doesn't include line rental as I solely use my mobile with additional services such as iMessage and Skype etc.
VM offer an internet package without having to take line rental - but having had a look around I can't seem to find anyone else who does. Does anyone else know of any other providers who do? I will of course phone VM to see if I can get a deal as a returning customer.
Many thanks.

Virgin are the only cable provider in the UK. They offer stand alone broadband.
If you are not in a Virgin cable area you will need to rent a land line to get ADSL, or VDSL broadband. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Also note it is still cheaper to take the phone line with Virgin...
looking at pricing for 30Mb BB and weekends phone
£120 line rental (prepay for 12 months) + £14.50 x 6 for BB (free for six months) + no installation charge = £207 for year
add £60 to this price if you'd rather pay the line rental monthly.
just broadband on its own, no phone:
£17.50 x 3 (intro offer) + £22.50 x 9 (ongoing price) + £49.95 installation = £304.95 for year
Its cheaper to take the phone line and not use it. I haven't take account of the length of the contracts here, but you get the idea.0
