I think i'm better off on a single rate, though I have to say I'm finding it quite confusing trying to decide which is the best one to switch to and different comparison sites give me different options.0 -

That meter is capable of being configured as a multi rate meter but yours is not - this is obvious from the cables.

Everyone has the option to be on E7 if they want to be but you are currently on a single rate tariff. If you requested E7, they would fit a new meter.
I was not aware that if you had an E7 meter you could choose to be on a single rate, which is the impression I get.
