Will easyJet's fares on this route take off?

Last I heard the flights will be re-instated when T2 re-opens.
LGW doesn't have a T2, it has North & South and both are open0 -

No, it doesn't. Clearly I was having a mad moment
In addition to cancelling the LCA-LGW route Aegean have made changes to the LCA-LHR route and, from next month, changed it to an indirect via ATH.
This has caused some annoyance to those who had have booked for the rest of the year. The good news is that once T2 at LHR re-opens the direct flight is due to be re-instated.

Not much of a loss really. Always preferred CY. Annoying it's up to Heathrow if you don't want to use easyJet tho.0

Less choice usually means higher prices.
From what I've seen people are increasingly wary of booking Cyprus Airways until there's some clarity on whether it's a going concern. Obviously there's been an issue for years but, right now, the government aren't in a position to be throwing any extra money in their direction.
I flew LCA-LHR with them in the last week of March and the passenger load was sub-20%. Very nice in terms of space but not so good as an example of people's willingness to fly with them.

sub 20% ? no way can any airline sustain that.unless its a one off ? Most Low costs are at 85% +. better getting £50 than nada0

Cyprus have already sold 2 aircraft to Monarch0

A3 is the easiest airline to get star gold and doesn't even require you to fly them... was going to try them on this route this summer but looks like I'll just have to use my gold benefits elsewhere.0
