Just curios rog2. Did they they send you a copy of the 'notice' filed to court, or was it an actual 'certificate'?
Most people seem to stress that there is an important difference, and the OR's procedures also say this.

If it's a certificate, the OR has saved you a possible £60. :j

It was just the file notice (Form 6.82) I'm afraid, Fermi, with a note that if I require a formal certificate of discharge I should contact the court.

You have been such a big help to me since I started my DMP, giving me good calming advice when I was getting hassle (as you do for so many other posters) so I'm glad karma has paid you back ;):D

Thank YOU Looby - I hope all is well with you.:A

    Hi Rog,

No, got back about tea time and don't I know it. Life is so uncomplicated there, I really can't see us spending much more of our lives in this country. We're an open minded couple and mix well in a foreign country. We could both of us have taken jobs that would have given us a reasonable income with a much better quality of life, and the prospect of developing promising business interests.

If the new insolvency laws were meant to encourage enterprise in this country they're not working for us. I do now doubt that we'll get our 12 month automatic discharge and if we don't then we're off; if we do then we're still off :D

To think that the birth of enterprise and initiative was to a large extent born in this country; it really has been well and truly reduced to an almost comatose state.

    Rich
