To be honest, your coming across as someone who doesn't really want to work and would rather go back to getting free tax payers money.
Hardly surprising your getting a frosty reception!0 -

I agree with this advice. Now you have a job, you will probably find it much easier to get something else that suits you better. There's plenty of people who would rather spend their nights sleeping rather than working. You're not alone in not liking shift work. You just need to start applying for other stuff. The good part is, if you are working at night you will be free for interviews during some part of the day.0 -

Sounds to me like you're the troll.
Either that or a sour benefit scrounger who is upset at being forced to get off their lazy !!!! and work like the rest of us have to.0 -

You're. Meaning you are.
I would educate you about the rest but it's not worth my time. I'm just gonna sit until someone actually answers this now instead of replying to people who have the mentality I mentioned before.0 -

I understand that if you are sacked or walk out, you won't be entitled to any benefits. Could they decide that I'm not suitable for the job if I say that I won't be happy doing night shifts? And would this then mean I'm ok to sign back on and look for a more suitable job?
No.

You were "forced" to take the job? Did they steal your contract, sign it, post it back, then physically pick you up and take you to work?
No. Exactly.
Just admit that it was easier to sit on your !!!! collecting benefits than working for a pay slip.0 -
OP either give the full story or we will assume that you are just a lazy scrounger who wants to leech off the rest of us. You say we dont know your past, no we dont, all we know is what you have told us and that is that you dont want to work.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

If you're going to pick someone up on their spelling, I would suggest you do not follow that with slang/ text speak such as "gonna"
