First online grocery shop, poor experience.

Whenever I use on line grocery shopping I use Tesco and have never had any problems other than a couple of items out of stock. Any substitutions have been sensible and the delivery is always on time. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0

Never had any problems with ocado, sainsburys or tesco online shop.
agree that ocado seem to do the least amount of subs.Mini me due March 2014

I've had issues with Tescos and Asda so I stick with Sainsburys. I've never had a problem with them and their delivery drivers are far nicer than the others, different calibre completelyTurning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0

As a bit of balance, I rarely have any problems with Asda and those I do get are sorted very quickly and easily. I just got a delivery the other day, had no trouble at all with the ordering. Delivery arrived towards the beginning of my booked time slot, all the offers worked and everything was present and correct. And the driver was lovely.
I did have a few small problems to start with but they got better (I think they put an extra watch on my shopping because I kept having to phone up), then since I've moved they've always been fab. So I think it might depend where you are on how good they are, but that goes for all the supermarkets.0 -
I've been through Asda, Sainsburys and am now using Tesco for online shopping.
Asda - poor quality fresh produce , bizarre substitutions, poor customer service
Sainsburys - even worse fresh produce (my local sainsburys seems to use online shopping as a method for no more than getting rid of stuff you wouldn't buy normally), and annoyingly their price match doesn't apply online.
Tesco i've found is the best of the bunch. Generally very good fresh produce, refunds given quickly if i've had issues, and their price match happens automatically via email.
I'm happy with Tesco (for the moment anyway!)0 -
Used them all, never had any problems with any of them, even on two seperate occasions when my train was delayed for a exceptional amount of time, both Tesco and Asda delivered my shopping to my sisters in the next street because I would not be home in time,0

Well Asda still haven't bothered to reply to my emails so I guess they don't want my custom. Fine by me;)0

I just don't like online food shopping at all. Tried it once with Asda and didn't like the substitutions they gave. I also like trying different supermarkets as I get bored going to the same one all the time. I'm quite lucky that I have Morrisons, Sainsburys, Asda and Tesco all within a 4 mile radius of me. My neighbours use online food shopping a lot, the drivers either knock at my door by mistake or block my drive, both of which are annoying when there is plenty of space in front of my neighbours house. I don't mind mistaking what house it is but I do when it's ten o'clock at night and my kids are asleep and Im in my bed as I'm up early for work.0
