Anyone ever had a response from Portugese CAA?

I contacted the CAA re a 3hr+ delay and they said even tho it was a UK airline because the delay was the return journey to the UK I had to contact the Portugese CAA. I've emailed them twice, the second time asking for an acknowledgement of my complaint at least but have heard nothing. Just wondered if anyone else has had trouble getting a response?
