I think the only reason Angela kept her mouth shut was because theres no arguing with the truth and whether you beleive it is the truth or not. Banks are paying out hundreds because of it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Judi none of us dissenters are suggesting that Martin is not on the side of righteousness but that is not the question that was asked.0 -
It makes a change to see someone with passion rather than mumbling away like polititians do - people perk up and listen if things get a little heated on TV - well done Martin. (Boy was she annoying).Aint got a signature - as I cant think of anything world wisely to say.0

I was being trying to be diplomatic. I didnt want to start another war of words like there is on here. I was just trying to say Angela knew there was no arguing with the truth. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Well done Martin!
What on earth was that woman on about? If you tell the bank you are skint and can't meet payments etc they will not help, they don't want to know your problems, they are there to make money thats all.
Goodwill? They are only paying back what they were not entitled to take in the first place by law. Do it the other way round and it's called a bank robbery!
Good work Martin.0 -

You call that a rant? I'd say it was fairly tame! It's a very emotional subject after all, ask anyone who's claimed bank charges back!

Totally agree with that statement and i can't imagine what life would be like without Martin in it now! Go Martin soon you will have world domination just don't sell out to Google!0 -
I love a man with passion! Well done Martin
Everytime that woman was talking I found myself saying 'YAWN' , I thought she was rude by not answering his questions and if you watch she speaks over Andrew Castle. She came across as disinterested and I found pedantic, trying to belittle Martin on tv, not a chance!

Well Martin certainly wore his heart on his sleeve in this interview. I thought Angela ignored the question that Martin asked of her (can't quite remember what is was now) quite admirably. Whatever the question was it had happened to me - despite her denying it!
I think the question was why are banks closing peoples account if they have claimed bank charges.
Not only did I receive bank charges after being rudely made 'redundant' by my ex-employer who then refused to pay me, but when I informed the bank of my difficulties they removed my overdraft straight away and continued to add more charges. When I asked for my money back they shut my account and have placed a default on my credit file.
Far from Angela's smug comment, if you are in difficulty talk to the bank who will listen and try to help! HUH!!!! B****CKS!
I don't know how martin managed to stay so restrained. I would have punched her.
WELL DONE MARTIN!

In fact..........
Next time you are on GMTV with that woman Martin - take me with you. See if she can argue with the facts when they are sitting next to her!
