I think Martin reacted in the most honest way possible: from his heart. I got infuriated just watching that clip: that Angela frustrates me no end, with her flippant remarks about the "goodwill" banks show people. We're talking about putting people into debt; ruining lives even, and she laughs it off as if it were no big deal... Which I guess, with her wealth, being an ex-Tory politician and the 'face' of the banks, this money would not be an issue at all. Grr!!!
Thank you Martin for speaking up for people everywhere. Keep up the good work - we are all behind you.0 -
I thought Martin came over as rude. Angela did not interrupt when he was speaking. Whether he agreed with her or not he should not have started ranting.0

Martin was FAB. It made me cross listening to that woman. She talked absolute S*i*. Goodwill payments my AR**.
Good on you Martin:beer:0 -
I agreed wholly with Martin's point of view but, much as he is my hero, that wretched woman did remain icily calm throughout. I'm sorry to say that, in comparison, it did make Martin's enthusiastic delivery look more like shouty, interrupty, rudeness. Sorry MartinOfficial DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Martin was a raving loony compared to the calm woman, and it made her come out the best unfortunatly. A discussion would of been preffered over that shouting match with no real content from martin - I chocked on my corn flakes, i thought i was watching jeremy kyle0 -

Totally agree.........sorry Martin!
I would also say I'm sure I'd have reacted the same though - your passion and knowledge on the subject has helped so many people, I don't think anyone would begrudge you a bit of an impassioned shout out!!

IF YOU'RE SKINT......
Do I need it? Can I afford it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?
IF YOU'RE NOT SKINT......
Will I use it? Is it worth it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?0
